BioMandate 2045

BioMandate 2045 is a narrative strategy game about the political and ethical challenges of biotechnology in a near-future world.

As director of the Global Biotech Regulation Agency, you must decide which innovations make it into society — and which do not. Gene-editing treatments, synthetic organisms, neural implants: each proposal offers potential breakthroughs, but also unknown risks.

You manage limited resources, investigate hidden dangers, and balance the demands of governments, corporations, and the public. Every decision shifts global trust and shapes future developments.

Rather than simulating the science itself, the game focuses on governance and the burden of responsibility behind regulatory power. BioMandate 2045 invites players to reflect on real-world questions: Who gets to decide what progress looks like? What happens when innovation moves faster than oversight?

This is not a game about having the right answers but about living with the consequences of difficult choices.
